There will always be losers who blame others...

My son and I have been with Securus America since January 2012. We have a team of 20 agents, almost half of them have been with us most of that time. We are personal friends with the leadership of this company. Good people! There will always be people who don't make it and choose to blame others for their failure. In this case, SA is a legitimate, proven business that is helping senior's families and has created a good income for many people who serve them! The leads are good and the system does work! We know from personal experience!

They ripped me OFF! Their automated system charged me 7.95 FEE didn't add my 25.00 call time!! Then when I call customer service they say,"ONLY SOULUTION IS PAY FEE AGAIN!" NOT EVEN!! They need to shut this crooked place DOWN!! Let someone honest run the inmate calls! Which I did, OUT SMART THEM

My actual filed complaint .... Trying to get refunded is an absolute joke with how quick you are to charge us for calls and fees! You didn't even attempt reimbursement on my Visa debit card but had no issue charging it. Calling your help line was an actual joke. You need to be able to press 0 and speak to a *** person. The way this site, fees and customer service are ran you need to fix it. I am officially closing my account and could give two *** less about who goes to prison if it means using this company. Sincerely living in letters.

Phone termination by staff

The phone hung up twice saying that there are no third party calls and that the call was being terminated and it wasn't. I am started to notice it's doing that quite often too. I am started to feel like the jail staff has a lot to do with those calls hanging up. It's sad because we don't have money like that and these calls are expensive. Don't treat us like criminals. I may have to go to the news because this is just ridiculous!! and I'm not going to just let this go! I have kids and can't afford to throw money away like this.

I feel the same way! We have been ripped off several times that way and recently my husbands account was compromised and had his money in his debit account used up by someone else and told they couldnt do anything about it.

I am going to contact the news about this company because this is ridiculous. They are taking advantage of loved ones that want to talk to the inmate.

I am a mother of 4 whose husband is in jail on false charges. I have spent nearly $1200.00 to date on phone calls.

Several being dropped, static overriding my husbands voice, several fees for a direct bill account that I don't even have and money simply disappearing! I would be with you 100% but a class action law suit wouldn't get my money back. Only because most people in a class action suit get small amounts because the amount is split between so many. You would probably make out with your $20.00 but I wouldn't...

not $1200.00 worth.

SECURUS IS A COMPLETE SCAM ANSD THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF YOU JUST LIKE A CRIMINAL

SECURUS has video visit for home computers and when you use it on a MAC it states all you need is to have the OSI 10.2 or newer and download a JAVA script. They do not tell you that you have to download WINDOWS to operate there system or that ONLY WINDOWS supports there system.I used them twice and spoke with a customer rep and he was rude and un profesional and to get a refund you have to fill out a fourm and fax it back to them but on their website states you can contact customer service.

My boyfriend is incarcerated. First, they had no problem using all of my info to take phone call payments and VM payments....then tried to set up video visitation....they tried to say it wasn't my phone number!!

I then had to send in my Verizon bill twice...even with charges on there FROM THEM. finally after over a week they let me sign in...then I sent in the *** picture three times before they approved me. FINALLY! overdrew my account just to set up a video vist.

I did all of the tests including the webcam and it was all good. just tried to have our first visit...all of a sudden I could see and hear him but mine wouldn't work at all. after the visit time I did the check again on THEIR website and once again!! There I am!!

cam was working perfect again!

All they have to say is its my computer. I got a brand new computer a week ago and all of the system checks on the secures website are fine before and after but not during!!!

I got a call today and was on the phone for 2minutes then got cut off and because we did get to talk they will not refund my $3.89 so they say but I'm willing to do what ever it takes to get my money back and everyone else's also and I think I should get a month of free calls because this is the second time it has happened to me.

Haven't got all my calls Ive paid for, four times on my Debit over 30$$ each time

I've put money on for phone time four times from Feb 15, 2015 first time I put 25$ plus processing fee of $6.98 first call I received I could hear the inmate but he couldn't hear me. Then all the next calls got charged and we never had our conversations at all and all the money was negative so I only received one that time. then all the rest kept going to voice mail and charged with no conversations or me pressing 1. Second time I put 20$ plus $6.95 processing fee third time 25$ n processing fee 4th time the same amount, calls drop as well and always take my money when I don't even press 1 haven't got my moneys worth please help me get the services I have paid for a total of $119.??

I have 2 brothers in prison in Connecticut, and I am in Georgia. For the past 2+ years, we have been mostly unable to speak with my brothers, as the calls fail when you press 1 to accept.

Securus keeps telling me they can't find a problem and if it continues for 48 hours to call back and they will open a ticket....how can I tell them to call back, when the calls won't go through. Since they have a monopoly, they need to be held accountable when the system fails.

Thats so frustrating with all the money there robbing from us they should be able to pay more people to answer phone calls. I cant stand them i havent been able to talk to my loved one in 64 hrs. He can make calls to other people but not me and i have an advanced pay account with plenty of money on it there is no reason they cant resolve this issue to get phone calls threw to me.

They couldn't even waive $1.94 in lieu of my sons death !!!

The last attempted call using secures was 1-6-15 at which time my son was released from jail. We had a balance of $1.06 which I didn't care about. About 6 weeks later I start getting auto calls on my phone from their billing dept saying I needed to call them and that I owed $1.94 which was overdue. The calls kept coming every day at the same time. I finally called to find out that the reason I owed $1.94 was because there was a $2.99 cell phone fee which I was never made aware that was charged to my account so they deducted the $1.06 and said I owed them $1.94. I asked if they could waive the $1.94 but they refused and said if I didn't pay it would go to collections. I wanted to pay right then and there and be done with it but then I would have to incur a $7.95 fee. REALLY!!!! I also told them I wouldn't be using them ever again as "My Inmate" had passed away on Jan 19th but they could care less. This is corporate greed running wild. They make billions off the backs of the hard working and mostly poor that are under stress in difficult situations. I mailed them they're god *** $1.94 today and asked to stop the *** calls but that won't happen until the account is PIF. I probably spent at least a grand during the few times my son was incarcerated and they couldn't even waive $1.94. The student loan has forgiven the balance of his debt, his dentist wrote off $150.00 he owed and Verizon waived the $270.00 early termination but securus couldn't even waive $1.94. REALLY!!!

It is pretty sad when you add money they take out there fee. And to me that is unfair.

If it was in and emergerncy they needed to keep it the way it was. When the caller calls you let it go on your debt or credit card instead of going threw this ***.

Put it back the way it was. And leave it alone.

Connection fails repeatedly, Fire Securus immediately get new phone contractor

Securus calls incoming received with recording but does not allow me to accept the call, I am constantly trying to press 1 to accept but the recording repeats the prompts and does not recognize I am pressing any buttons at all. I called securus customer service and waited on hold for over 1 hour to get a live person and was told they would put in a ticket to investigate the problem but that would take at least 48 hours. The corrections department needs to cancel all contracts with securus immediately and seek out a service provider capable of providing reliable service and prompt response as they are making plenty of money on the inmate calls but delivering *** pour service and could care less as they have a monopoly on prison contracts. The corrections department in charge of selecting and hiring a phone company for the prison system needs to have the CEO of that department fired immediately for retaining securus to be paid to provide negligent service on all points! It is a disgrace!!

This is so frustrating. My boyfriend has called 20 some times in the last day and i cannot hit one to connect. This system sucks i spend hundreds of dollars a year with them and this is what i get......the jail needs to switch providers i never had a problem with global telelink.

In the past 6 months I have been corresponding with my life in the Volusia County branch jail. but the last 13 days my wife has not been able to get throughto my phone but once. SECURUS keeps telling me the problem is resolved or that she has not attempted a call which I know to be false. Her parents and uncle have been calling nightly voicing my wife's frustrations and disappointments over this matter. If no resolution is reached by Monday I'm filing a formal complaint with the FCC as well as a personal injury lawsuit.
