It is hard enough having a loved one incarcerated but this company has caused more personal pain. I was charged for a video visit that could not be connected. I waited on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes before finally got through to a real person. I was told I need to take my computer to a professional because it was NOT a Securus issues. When trying to accept calls and entering my credit card 70% of the time the system does not recognize my card as a "valid" number. When I finally spoke to a real person after over another hour on hold I was told to sign up for direct pay. Oh *** no. This company will get nowhere near any direct pay from me. Unfortunately Multnomah County has contracted Securus to handle ALL VISITS TO both facilities. Nice job whoever made that decision. No responsibly or accountability. At $13.00 a call it seems there is a huge profit and since we are dealing with convicts they don't care. I refuse to give these crooks another dime. This company should be incarcerated.

Happens to me everyday a couple times a day it wont let me answer no matter how many times i press 1 it just seems to not be registering. how can you have people locked up and make us pay these ridiculous amounts when you cant even let us accept their call. Its really frustrating.

HORRIBLE!!!
Worst experience EVER!!! This it the most poorly managed software company EVER! I am absolutely floored at the incompetence of this company! Do not pay for the video visitation. They have you by the short hairs!! After seeing the comments from other people, I am absolutely disgusted at the level of incompetence this company displays! On top of that, they are making me type at least 100 WORDS on the complaint site in order to post anything bad about this PIECE OF *** company! And I keep typing and they still won't let me post my comments. If you are paying any attention at all, I am totally pissed off at this site too!

All small business owner should never doing business with this company. This is a scam! This company has an F rating with the BBB.Avoid this company at all costs! They want u to sign a contract. These people do nothing but lie to you and constantly add hidden fees that they take with out warning.I just sign a contract with them at 02/26/15. NOw i have been told i have to pay $999 for the ETF, ang $7200 for the credit card. I really don't know what to do now? why this company still doing business? anyone can help?

I am so frustrated with this company because they have poor customer service and they do not believe in customer satisfaction. I've lost so much money due to the calls dropping consistently. When I spoke with a representative they told me that they don't replace the money lost due to terminated calls and it's ridiculous. There is no one calling me while I'm on the phone, I'm not making another call and there is no television or music playing in the background but the calls still drop and the only reason that I put up with it is to hear my loved one's voice but I'd rather take the long trip and go see him for 20 minutes that to put up with this none sense. It's absurd and in terminating my account. I also will spread the word and let anyone I come in contact with that asks at the jail, to look otherwise because this Securus company is a scam and the only reason they're still making money is because people have no other choice. It's so sad that everyone has the same complaint and they care to do nothing about the situation at hand.

WORST COMPANY EVER, DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY. PAID FOR A VISIT, DIDNT EVEN GET TO SEE THE PERSON I WANTED TO AND THEY STILL CHARGE YOU FOR IT. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY WERENT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE ISSUE. AND ON TOP OF THAT WAS STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER MY CALL FOR ABOUT 20 MINS. The calls get terminated over things you have no control over. Yet they make it seem like it's your fault. & they find it easy to say they can't refund your money. I work two jobs to make ends meet and I sure as *** hate when it gets thrown in the trash. Being away from someone you love sucks but when your on the phone with them and two minutes within the call it gets cut off, & your start losing money that's worse. I honestly think his company has no care for the customers who pay money to talk to their loved ones.

Customer service DOES NOT EXSIST at Securus Tech. Their live chat is *** and probably just done with another horrible automation bot. Their phone automation is literally THE WORST & MOST FRUSTRATING I've EVER... again, EVER had to deal with. Thats saying a ton, seeing as most, if not all automation systems provide one headache or another to some degree. But at least with the other's theres always the "Operator Option." Not at Securus.. Oh no. What you'll get is that freakin droid autogal telling you that theres problems with the blah, blah, blah and to call back in half an hour. Are you *** kidding me?! Who are the god**** *** running this *** LAw enforment types, lazy-2nd,3rd rate techie types?? I dont care.. IT'S F'NG below the bottom of the barrel. Yeah i'll sign a petition for a class action lawsuit. Right there with ya!

Incorrect Assessment - Our Experiences could not be More Different!
Whoever posted this comment clearly has no idea how any sales operation or business is even run. First of all it appears the post is extremely outdated and that the poster was given really bad advice or heard what he/she wanted to hear. A qualified lead is an opportunity to have a conversation with someone who has expressed an interest in getting more information about final expense planning. These are not simply orders to be taken. you actually have to still work for a living. Im sure they could have built a Call Center to handle incoming orders and they wouldn't have a field agent model at all if these were all ready to buy customer leads. For the new person reading this.. just think through with some common sense. I have been with many other Sales Organizations before in my lifetime and this is one of the most straight forward companies I've ever dealt with. They promote hard work and simple system with verifiable results. There are no handouts here to people that don't want to work or expect big rests with minimal effort. But for those who are willing to go to work and follow a system, results can be incredible. They have been for me and my family. Great platform! Some of the most down to earth, hardworking and smart people I've ever worked with. For the person posting this comment I'm happy to discuss at any time. Look me up. You'll find me. :)

Securus America is a great company to work with!
It amazes me that comments that are this old are still showing up on a company that is growing by leaps and bounds. Perhaps those writing negative comments should consider doing more research. I am a CPA by profession and I did my due diligence over 3 years ago. That being said - I am still with Securus America because based on what I have seen, they have the best platform in the Final Expense industry and the best platform to build an agency. I'll not invest any more time to dispute those that have not done their research on current matters. DPT

They are full of *** !! It seems that the more money u add for cell phone calls ..the quicker your money leaves your account.
6 or 7 dollars every time you add money ?! That's fckd up ..
They are total scam artist , feel so sorry for the families or loved ones of the Ones who are incarcerated and have to deal with their ***.. Unfortunately I'm one of them!
